Week 3 featured an SEC clash between Alabama and Florida which featured a freshman RB by the name of Emmitt Smith, a Heisman showdown between Tim Brown and Lorenzo White in South Bend and #8 Clemson hosting #18 Georgia in a classic southern rivalry.
Week 2 featured a top 5 matchup in Lincoln between UCLA and Nebraska, while the defending champs hosted Alabama and Notre Dame opened the season in the Big House against Michigan. We also preview and give you the odds on the 1987 Heisman race.

We are trying something different this off-season here at It's College Football. We are going to take a look back at a season in College Football history.
